Full line of oral care products
Teeth whitening is a great start to you oral health care journey. Questions to ask yourself: are my teeth yellow, brown or grey? Do I know why they are discolored? Are my teeth and gums healthy? Do I have sensitive teeth? How white do I want my smile? Am I planning a smile makeover in the future?
How do I decide what I need?

Yellow teeth
Yellow teeth can be from coffee, smoking or sodas. These stains can be the easiest to remove. If they are on the surface then a light abrasive such as pearl powder, baking soda or charcoal floss will help. If the stains are deeper then a hydrogen peroxide bleach works best. If your teeth are not sensitive then any of the whitening products will work for you. Make sure to start with clean teeth!
For a brighter smile try…

Grey teeth
Grey teeth be the most difficult to brighten. They can be caused by tetracycline, silver fillings and older age. Carbamide peroxide worn for longer periods of time at 10-16% works best for grey teeth but can take months for the most dramatic effect. In the case of silver fillings or old restorations, replacement with new restorations will help harmonize your new, brighter smile. The “Sensitive” whitening products will work best for grey teeth.

Then if you want a stronger white, try…

Sensitive teeth and gums
If you have sensitive teeth and gums, a carbamide peroxide and desensitizing gel will be the best combination. The pH will be more neutral and the “pores” in your teeth will be blocked off preventing increased sensitivity. It is advisable to visit your dentist to ensure there is not an underlying infection. We plan to open retail locations in 2022 with in office bleaching with Rx grade whitening gels as well as desensitizing varnishes that can provide faster results with less sensitivity. Any of the “Sensitive” products will work best for you. The “MAX Sensitive” is stronger so should be only be used with moderate sensitivity in your teeth.
For a brighter smile try…

Single discolored tooth
Do you have a single discolored tooth? Has it had a root canal? Has it had a restoration? Has it had trama in the past? The answers to these questions will help find a whitening routine that works best for you. One method to even out the color of your teeth is to use a gel pen only on that tooth until it closely matches the other teeth. This approach can take several weeks to months and each case is different. In office bleaching techniques can solve the issue with less work from you but may still take several weeks to achieve the results you want.
